Privacy policy
Updated October 14, 2026
When you leave your email address to receive the lateral-thinking PDFs, your browser sends it straight to Substack. Latthink does not receive or store it. As the publisher of the No Problemo AI newsletter, I can access the subscription data inside Substack. Here's what I use it for.
Who is responsible
Carlos Hernández Gómez (Karliky), VAT number ES21001046E, Calle de Cadarso 16, Local, 28008 Madrid, Spain. You can write to me at karliky@gmail.com with any question about your data.
What data I collect and why
Substack receives your email address, the date you subscribe and the page you came from. I use it to give you access to the newsletter, where the Spanish and English PDFs are linked, and to send you the occasional email about the topics on this site or my own projects. Further down the line, those projects may include professional services or training. I do not sell or hand your email address to anyone.
You must be at least 14 years old to subscribe. If you are younger than that, please do not submit the form.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by submitting the form and confirming the subscription from the email you receive. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else processes your data
Substack handles sign-up, confirmation and newsletter emails. Your browser sends the data straight to Substack, which may process it in the United States under the safeguards required for international transfers. You can read its privacy policy. The website is served from Cloudflare, which may log technical connection data, such as the IP address, for security reasons.
Fonts and images are served from this same domain, so when you read the website your browser does not connect to Google, Unsplash or other third-party services, apart from Cloudflare, which hosts the website. Links to external sources only take you to other websites if you click on them.
Web analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to learn, in aggregate, about visits, page views, referring sites, country, device type, browser and the website's performance metrics. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint devices and does not identify individual people.
Cloudflare also hosts and protects this website and may process technical connection data, such as the IP address, to provide the service and keep it secure. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every email. You can also ask me for access to your data, to correct, delete or restrict it, to receive a copy of it, or to object to its processing, by writing to karliky@gmail.com. If you believe I have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or with the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies either. The website stores a few things in your browser. It remembers the light or dark theme, the language you read it in and, if you leave the essay halfway through, the section you were on, so it can offer to pick up there when you come back. The language preference is kept in a cookie that your browser sends to latthink.com for the sole purpose of not redirecting you to another language when you come back to the home page. The other two stay in your browser's local storage and never leave it. None of them identifies anyone or is used for anything else.
If this translation and the Spanish version ever disagree, the Spanish version prevails.
